Praying for our church to be effective in reaching Hermitage and Mt. Juliet. Ask God to open doors, help us to have compassionate hearts, that we would be bold witnesses, and that we would be a deep united body.
Prayers for Compassion and Vision
• Open our eyes: Lord, show us the real needs of our neighbors. Help us see our town through Your eyes instead of walking past them in a rush.
• Break our hearts: Give us a genuine love for the broken, hurting, and lost people living right outside our doors.
• Remove barriers: Take away our comfort, fear, and bias so we step out of our walls and into the lives of others.
Prayers for Action and Boldness
• Be the hands and feet: Empower our church members to serve selflessly in local schools, businesses, and neighborhoods.
• Give us words: Grant us courage and clarity to share the gospel naturally when You provide open doors.
• Anoint our efforts: Bless our outreach events, food pantries, and community programs so they bear eternal fruit.
Prayers for Unity and Authenticity
• Bind us together: Keep our church unified in love so the community sees our fellowship and knows we belong to You.
• Live out the truth: Let our walk match our talk, making our congregation a safe, welcoming beacon of grace and truth.
