PRAISE Report:
We had 30 students go to camp. One gave his life to Christ and we are discussing baptism with two other students!! We also had five students volunteer to give their testimonies. This led to Eli Stephenson giving his life to Christ. It was such a move of the Spirit! It had nothing to do with me and everything to do with our students being willing and obedient to do what God told them to do in that moment. My goal in year 3 is to give an opportunity for our students to develop a family unit and I believe it worked! The video we will show is of our students praying over one another as they move up in their perspective grades and our lower class-men praying over our seniors. I appreciate your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for this growth, flame and revival!! My biggest prayer is that our students who follow Christ be ones who live sent and NOT fall stagnant!!!
PRAYER Request:
There’s a lot of great things God is doing in our midst at New Hope! He is moving and the praise report from Eric from camp is a testament to that. We have a lot to celebrate and be thankful for. That being said, the enemy is also at work seeking to discourage, speak lies and distract us from our mission. Please pray against spiritual warfare in our church and in our people. Pray we stay focused and vigilant as we seek to see our community become more like Heaven.
1 Peter 5:8-9 “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world."
