Prayer List

Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Here's some ways we can be praying for the pastors, youth and the other leaders.

1. Spiritual Protection
Youth ministry is on the frontlines of spiritual warfare. Pray that your leaders:
•Stand firm
•Maintain passion
•Guard against discouragement

2. Wisdom in Discipleship
Leaders need discernment to guide teenagers through complex cultural, personal, and moral issues.
•Clarity in teaching: The ability to teach the Bible simply, accurately, and engagingly.
•Discerning hearts

3. Emotional and Physical Rest
Ministry fatigue is incredibly common, and leaders often pour from an empty cup.
Pray that God:
•Grants deep rest: Fills them with the Holy Spirit and provides refreshing perspective.
•Protects their time: Gives them the strength to set necessary boundaries and say "no" so they can prioritize what matters most.
•Heals invisible wounds: Brings healing to any personal burdens, exhaustion, or grief.

4. Healthy Personal Lives & Families
A leader’s first ministry is to their own home and personal relationship with God.
•Marriage and family thrive: Their families feel loved, supported, and are shielded from ministry pressures.
•Personal faith remains vibrant: They don't just "work" for the church, but delight in their personal relationship with Jesus.

5. Relational Connection with Students
Effective youth ministry is deeply rooted in personal relationships.
Doors open for connection: Students are willing to engage, and leaders are given the courage to reach out.

Most of all pray for the youths hearts to be transformed and for salvation for many!!!!

Let us also focus our prayers towards VBS.

The Children:
•Open Hearts - Pray that God prepares the children's hearts to receive the Good News, allowing the biblical truths they learn to take root.
•Genuine Encounters - Ask that each child has a personal and everlasting encounter with Jesus and understands His love.
•Friendships & Inclusion - Pray that kids feel welcomed, included, and are accepting of new participants and peers who may not be familiar with the church.
•Safety & Well-being - Pray for their physical, emotional, and spiritual safety throughout the week.

Volunteers & Teachers:
•Energy & Endurance - VBS requires a lot of physical and emotional energy. Pray that God protects volunteers from weariness and provides them with renewed strength and patience.
•Relational Connection - Ask that leaders and teachers focus on building meaningful, one-on-one relationships with the kids rather than just executing the curriculum.
•Words of Wisdom - Pray that the Holy Spirit guides teachers and volunteers, giving them the right words to share the gospel clearly.

Leadership & Logistics:
•Preparation - Pray for the VBS directors, administrative teams, and those organizing logistics, decorations, and snacks.
•Smooth Operations - Ask that all moving parts, schedules, and daily transitions occur smoothly without disruptions.
•Creativity - Pray that those leading crafts, music, and recreation can present the material in engaging, fresh, and fun ways.

Families & Follow-Up
•Ministry Reach - Pray that VBS serves as a powerful outreach, drawing unchurched families and the local community into the church.
•Home Witness - Pray that the children share the biblical truths and songs they learn with their parents and siblings at home.
•Lasting Fruit - Pray that the connections made during VBS endure long after the week is over, leading to long-term discipleship for families

Colossians 3:23: Pray that volunteers serve with joy, doing their work heartily as unto the Lord rather than unto men.
